For my trainer of the week this week I am taking another dip back into the Spring Summer 18 SPZL drop from adidas with the Indoor Kreft SPZL. I got some Indoor Supers in a previous drop and I love them, so these are right up my street and perfect for summer!
adidas SPEZIAL and Gary Aspden returned for their fourth year with a SS18 collection inspired by the Acid House scenes in Ibiza in the late 80s. This latest drop is a nostalgic, tangible throwback to euphoric summer seasons spent on the white isle back in ’88 and ’89, most commonly known as the Second Summer of Love.
The Indoor Kreft SPZL trainers are inspired by an indoor sport shoe from the Adidas archive. This is a like-for-like, one-off reissue. Crafted with a premium pigskin suede upper, lightweight textile underlays, a padded collar and a classic T-toe detail. Features include a Spezial-branded sockliner, white laces, a gum rubber outsole, Trefoil branding at the heel tab, 3-Stripes branding at the side walls with gold foil lettering and vintage weft tongue branding to finish.
