These days it feels like we are constantly being hammered by sales, gone are the days of the January sales and then maybe a summer one. Now we have Black Friday, Cyber Monday, mid season sales, the lot. Nevertheless, the New Year is still a big time for the majority of shops to go on sale and it can be overwhelming figuring out where to go for the best bargains.
My advice is to only buy something you would have bought anyway. Buying something you wouldn’t have bought, just because it is cheaper is counterintuitive.
Or get something a bit special that perhaps you wouldn’t normally splash out on. The likes of ASOS, Topman, Burton and BoohooMAN all have decent sales on as you’d expect. But it’s also a good opportunity to get something a bit special from a label or designer store that you might not normally be able to afford. Here are a few of my favourites:
